Physical AI needs to know what the world actually looks like from the ground. Satellites see roofs. Mapping fleets see roads they can drive. Neither sees a stairwell, a loading bay, a market street, or the inside of a warehouse. Vangrid collects that view. Contributors record short videos with an ordinary phone. Those videos are reconstructed into 3D models. Organisations that need something specific captured post a bounty, fund it, and contributors go and capture it. Every capture is fingerprinted at the moment it is recorded: a hash of the content, a coarse location, a timestamp. Fingerprints are batched and their root is anchored on Base, which turns each one into something a buyer can check against a public ledger rather than against our word, and that is what makes crowd captured data usable for training and for procurement.

Two roles

Contributors

Record captures and fulfil bounties.

Requesters

Post and fund bounties, review submissions, accept one.

Where to start

Everything begins at app.vangrid.io, which has two doors: Capture Data for contributors, which opens the capture app at app.vangrid.io/capture, and Buy Data for organisations, which opens data.vangrid.io.

Start capturing

Connect a wallet, record your first capture, submit it to a bounty. Browser or Android.

Post a bounty

Commission a capture of a specific place.

How verification works

What proves a capture is real.

For enterprise

Data access, residency, and the spatial API.
