The Vangrid Enterprise Spatial API gives programmatic access to verified spatial observations: query an area, ingest your own observations, subscribe to a live feed, and verify provenance independently. Access is granted per pilot. Credentials are issued on onboarding and scoped to the regions your account is authorised for.
The API is in early access and is not publicly available. Endpoint URLs, request examples and sample responses across the API reference are illustrative. Contact hello@vangrid.io to request access.

What the API covers

Authentication and regions

Access uses bearer API keys. Keys are scoped to a region and rate limited per account. A key scoped to one region does not return observations from another; a request that crosses the boundary is rejected rather than silently filtered. Regions are us-east-1, eu-west-1 and apac-1. Dedicated residency configurations are available under an enterprise agreement.

Provenance verification is the one that matters

Of the four operations, provenance verification is the one to read first. It answers a question no vendor can answer about itself: whether a given observation is authentic. It is designed to be answerable by a customer holding the observation and its hash, without trusting any other Vangrid response.
